A Year with Frog and Toad Kids Performance October 17th, 2014 at 7:00PM at the Kimber Academy in Cedar City Utah

I have a busy week coming up with auditions for The King and I and Messiah. I am going to try for Anna and have prepared You’ll never walk alone from Carousel as my audition piece. Then on thursday I am going to try for He Shall Feed His Flock from the Messiah. I am so excited and nervous to see how these auditions go. This past year I had several breathing emergencies that almost took me off the planet and so to be feeling well enough to sing and try for solos is really huge. I also had a great time this past week auditioning the kids show that I am directing at the Kimber Academy. It is just so fun working with the children.

I was thrilled to be featured in a Spectrum article on the Conservatory and had a ball teaching dance to the students who are doing the musical theatre elective. We perform the show in four weeks. It is a really busy time, so I do not know how much I will blog over the coming weeks. But I am happy and even though Andrew is leaving in two and a half weeks, it is great to have some music to do to keep me from feeling sad and overwhelmed to have two boys in the mission field.
