Something Rotten National Tour (Denver not listed – Boo Hoo)

The musical comedy, according to press notes, “tells the story of brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom, two playwrights stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rockstar Will Shakespeare. When a soothsayer foretells the next big thing in theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, the Bottom brothers set out to write the world’s very first MUSICAL!”

I bought the album a few months ago and have been listening ever since.

This is such a great show! I cannot wait to see it, be in it, direct it…

It is the perfect show for the musical theatre performer who spent just as much time studying dance, acting, and voice who feels just a tad overshadowed by those classically and opera trained.

My favorite song in the show, of course, is, It’s a Musical!
